For all PRIVATE trips, If you cancel the reservation within 7 days before the pickup date, 50% of the total balance is non refundable, and any difference between the 50% amount and any payments already made will be automatically charged to the card on file or paid by the customer. If you cancel within 48 hours before pickup date, 100% of the total balance is non refundable, and any remaining balance will be automatically charged to the card on file or paid by the customer.
For all PUBLIC trips, if a customer cancels the reservation 48 HOURS OR MORE IN ADVANCE from the scheduled pickup time, 100% IS REFUNDABLE. If a customer cancels WITHIN 48 HOURS OF PICKUP TIME, 100% IS NON REFUNDABLE.
Where can we get picked up from? We do have a limited service area for pick up. A good rule of thumb is: If your pick up address is within 15 minutes of the JW Marriott Austin, we can pick you up at no additional charge. If your pick up address falls outside that radius you may be subject to an extended travel fee.
What is not allowed? Absolutely no Styrofoam, glass or bad attitudes.
What type of vehicle will I be in? We assign the vehicle according to your group size. We have vans for smaller groups and buses for larger groups. Drinking is allowed in all of our vehicles.
What are common times and how long does the float last? Generally, our private trips depart @ 10:00 AM and @ 12:30 PM. The private trip experience is normally about 5.5 hours long from the time we pick you up at your hotel or airbnb till the time we drop you off. The actual float time takes about 3 to 3.5 hours (depending on river current conditions).
What if I want to drive to the venue myself? You can not drive yourself to our venue. There are several local tube rental companies in the area that may be able to help you with that.
Is the float family friendly? Definitely not on Saturdays. We suggest going any day other than a Saturday.
What is the total price for the private trip with fees and tax and everything included? Pricing depends on group size. If your group is 6-22 people, your per person pricing is $75 per person (plus tax, fees, and minimum tip) The final price would be about $90 per person.
Will our vehicle pick us up from wherever we are staying during our trip? Yes we can pick you up and drop you off from your location if you select the private option. Does the cost of the trip include tubes for everyone? Does it include a floating cooler? We provide the transportation, the tubes for your group to float in, … and we also provide one free cooler setup for every six people in your group. The cooler setup includes the cooler, the ice and the tube for your cooler to float in.
What will we need to bring to make this successful? You may want to bring a waterproof bag or a waterproof box especially if you plan to bring along a phone. Some of the things we recommend are things like sunscreen and river shoes or flip flops. It is a rocky beach and can be fairly uncomfortable on your feet, especially on a hot summer day. We also highly recommend staying hydrated … please drink plenty of water..
What if I am not sure how many people are going? Book with the conservative amount, meaning the amount of passengers you think are a sure bet. We can always add more people later, and just need a final headcount by 72 hours prior to pickup…. You will pay the remaining balance based on that headcount.
